Our Complete List of Gluten Free Chocolates

Our Complete List of Gluten Free Chocolates

Tell me, how can it be that it only feels like five minutes since we were putting the Christmas decorations away and finishing the last of the giant turkey? But here we are and all of a sudden, we have Valentine’s Day just around the corner and it even appears that Easter has descended upon the supermarkets!

The shelves are already abound with tempting sweets and chocolates and decadent Easter eggs in a variety of flavours and sizes. Basically It’s a child’s dream, and only increases the wonderful world of pester power, ultimately making your regular supermarket shop, that bit longer when you have the kids with you.

You might be surprised to know that a lot of chocolate is not gluten free. This isn’t necessarily because the product contains gluten, but more because the manufacturer can’t rule out cross contamination. This can be really disappointing if one your child’s favourites isn’t on the safe list, but there are plenty of equally delicious alternatives to enjoy!

As ever, it’s important to check the packaging of all of the chocolate and sweets that you pick up in the supermarket, as we know that manufacturers regularly change their ingredients, but the following list has been approved by Coeliac UK as being safe for a gluten free diet.
