Gluten Free Porridge with Fresh Berries Recipe

A super start to the day is porridge with fresh berries, as it’s release energy slowly throughout the day, meaning your child will be concentrating their hardest at school!
- 90g gluten free porridge oats
- 400ml milk or water
- Drizzle of honey
- 2 handfuls mixed fresh berries
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
- Add the porridge oats and milk to a pan and bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer for about 5 minutes or until the oats have absorbed the milk. Stir occasionally so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan as there’s nothing worse than trying to clean that off! Alternatively, you can also do this in a microwave.
- Leave to stand for a couple of minutes or it will take the roof of your child’s mouth off, then pour into a bowl, drizzle with honey and add the fresh berries.
